Four Questions: With Lee
In the Four Questions series we ask Making Rainbows parents the same four questions. Meet Lee from Making Rainbows Toowoomba!
What is your professional background?
My professional background includes a Honours degree in Production Animals (farming) and then I went to work in the industry. From there, I did something completely different and went into the dental industry becoming a dental assistant and front office co-ordinator. I am know back at University completing my Masters Degree which will give me the qualifications to become a high school teacher specialising in Agricultural science and Biology.
What is the most challenging thing about parenting for you right now?
The most challenging thing for me right now, is trying to think of different things to do with my son. I know he must get bored doing the same thing every day so coming up with new experiences is really hard.
What are you enjoying most about parenting right now?
I love seeing my sons personality starting to emerge. His little quirks and how when he doesn’t like things he will give them back. He is also starting to use some words, so its a pleasure to hear what he will come up with next.
What do you enjoy most about Making Rainbows?
The variety. I don’t think that I have been to a class where everything has been exactly the same. Its always different and provides my son with a whole new world.
